Prime Minister Theresa May Visits Colne Valley

Earlier this week, the Prime Minister Theresa May visited our local area to meet some of our candidates for the local elections on May 3rd. Jason celebrated English Tourism Week by visiting the newly renovated Holme Valley Camping & Caravan Park which employs 7 full time staff.

Honley Royal Visit

HRH The Princess Royal visited Rath Trombones in Honley. Jason was invited to attend by MD Michael Rath. The guest list also included celebrated Jazz Musician Dennis Rollins and customers from Holland and the USA.

National Citizen Service

Jason was honoured to join 98 local young people for an inspiring evening at the John Smith’s Stadium. The 16-17 year olds, including over 40 from Colne Valley High School, dedicated their summer to completing the National Citizen Service programme which aims to develop social skills, independence and self-confidence while promoting volunteering and the importance of community. They raised over £4,000 for local charities.The ceremony allowed the young people to share their successes and celebrate their achievements.
