National Citizen Service

Jason was honoured to join 98 local young people for an inspiring evening at the John Smith’s Stadium. The 16-17 year olds, including over 40 from Colne Valley High School, dedicated their summer to completing the National Citizen Service programme which aims to develop social skills, independence and self-confidence while promoting volunteering and the importance of community. They raised over £4,000 for local charities. The ceremony allowed the young people to share their successes and celebrate their achievements. Every graduate received a signed certificate by the Prime Minister which recognises their completion of the programme. For more information please visit
